In Echo, viewers encounter a ghostly ‘reflection’ of themselves that moves and speaks as they do in real time, but is transposed upon a documentary background of an urban landscape. UK Premiere Antigone is a threechannel installation filmed in Los Angeles, in which three actresses preparing for a monologue from Sophocles’ Antigone tell three stories in unison. One speaks candidly from her own experience as the two on the screens beside her re-enact her words.

This exhibition draws attention to the ground beneath our feet, celebrating the stuff of landscape and its potential in the hands of very skilful artists. Looking with fascination at spectacular and timeless rock faces or relishing transient fortuitous moments in wild coastal places, both Jan Walker and Frances Hatch in their paintings, and Robin Welch in his ceramics, take the material the Earth is made from and communicate through it and about it.
